There are just 10 days left to have your say on who will be on the National Executive Council (NEC) at UNISON.
Your election pack should have arrived at your home address. Now it’s time to read about the candidates, fill in the ballot and pop it in the post. It couldn’t be easier.
If you’ve already voted – thank you! Can you get your colleagues to vote too?
The NEC is the main body that runs our union, and it consists of members just like you. They determine what kind of union we are so it is essential that you decide who gets onto the NEC.
The vast majority of UNISON members are women and, as the first female general secretary, I want to see a union that represents women fairly and proportionally.
If you haven’t received your ballot paper or have lost it, you can request a replacement up until 12 noon on 20 May 2021. After this time, the helpline will close. You can contact the free helpline on 0800 0 857 857 8am to 7pm Monday to Friday.
Your vote must be in by 5pm on 27 May 2021, so make be sure to post it early. You won’t want to miss out on this chance to use your voice.
